The political guidelines are the framework for the adaptation and improvement of the waste water treatment in Germany, Europe and many other states. However, these legal guidelines have not yet been successfully implemented. Thus, innovative impulses are needed from academia just as practical technology implementations are needed from industry. Solutions which meet the clarification guidelines in everyday life, can only result from the co-operation of all three areas.
Reservations, fears and communication problems do not help. Only an open dialog of politics, academia and industry leads to the development of practical solutions. "Clarified. - The Symposium." thus brings together the decision makers of the waste water industry for a constructive exchange. New perspectives and an understanding for each other result from that. This safeguards not only the quality of technologies used today and in the future, but also the innovative strength of the location Germany.
